As you may know, I keep what I am working on a secret until it is ready to be seen. It doesn’t help to be famous on the internet but nobody comes to your show. I brought a whole suitcase full of work in progress from Joburg, and it’s happening, I promise. Barclays/ABSA has scheduled my show for 2017, so watch this space.”

At last, “home” again in the Cite des Arts. At the gallery of the Cite des arts, they are showing photography. French photographers in Moskow, and Russian photographers in Paris. Very interesting and technically brilliant. Viva la black-and-white 800ASA, so grainy that it looked as if some of the photographs were air-brushed.
